We hiked down to Fossil Springs to see for ourselves all of the changes that everyone has been talking about. I was a weener like always and took a good 20 minutes to "get used to" the water. By then Jake and Shera were off exploring. I'm not going to lie, I think my favorite part of going up to Strawberry to camp and hike Fossil Springs is eating at Strawberry Lodge. Mmmmm....pie....
Jake was really sad that they tore out the dam. He said he's so mad that he is going to write his Congressman... hmmmm. Even though it looks a lot different than it used to, it's still beautiful. One of the most beautiful spots in AZ. We hiked further down the creek to swim and play and still managed to have a great time. No dam jumps but a damn good time. Sorry, I couldn't resist...
